20 bucks is roughly the cost of the E3 and I figured 'most' people will only need to downgrade once.. So I thought it reasonable.. :)

@Riffnugget, this is a very old pre-CFW thread. The downgrade being mentioned is to OFW3.41 or less and won't work on any OFW 3.56+. Sorry.

Oh.. well I thought he meant downgrading a ps3 slim using the E3 flasher... see my ps3 slim CECH-2002B is running 4.11 and can be downgraded to 3.55 using e3 flasher... I just thought he could do that for me

Oh thats cool! where did you find this info??

If you read what E3 is proposing 'between the lines', it seems that they might come out with a new dongle and say a 4.11 or 4.20 CFW.

What appears to be uncertain is whether or not you would need to be on O/CFW3.55 before you 'upgrade' with E3's CFW.
