any new jailbreaks anytime soon?

im wondering if there will ever be another jailbreak for OFW on ps3 above 3.55, because some people are saying yes and some people are saying never again.

You know I heard through the grapevine that Jesus Christ was workin' on one...not only will it be capable of booting 3.60+ games and accessing PSN, but it will actually allow your ps3 to make water into wine!!

...I doubt there will be one my friend but who knows?

People ask this all the time, that and the "can I jailbreak 4.11?" but there is no need to be rude, I´ll get straigth to the point: NO
And if there ever was one it would be on the front page along with the rest of the news

There should be a declaimer on the top of the front page that says: " No, there are no new jailbreaks nor PSN, only 3.55 here thanks

To answer the original question. No there is no way to jailbreak a system above 3.55 unless you use a hardware flasher to downgrade to 3.55. Not all PS3 systems are able to do this. Google your model number + base firmware if your stuck on official and want custom firmware. You'll lose PSN access and will need a TB dongle for newer games. If you can downgrade look into the e3 flasher or progskeet.

There probably won't be a new CFW higher than 3.55 anytime soon, if ever. kakarotoks has explained the math on it. It's not impossible but is very unlikely that it will happen

@the rest - simple yes or no will do in most cases. These questions come in all the time. It was his first post so it at least appears that he's new to the scene and maybe doesn't have all the info that some of us do. We were all new at one point

Most likely we'll never never get a new Jailbreak above the 3.55 !! if you want to still on 3.55 & get 3.6+ backups working go & bye a TrueBlue dongle, that's the only solution atm.
PS3 scene is dead until the day some one release the new public keys 3.6+, that day the scene will get up again.
