With all the progress on updating games, no updates for resistance 1 correct?

It's the last of my "must haves" considering the amazing progress made for updates. I'm talking about updating resistance fall of man with the rumble patch - that's still not possible correct? If it is, for the love of god please let me know how! thanks!

For the resistance rumble update you need to log into MP then it will prompt you. Problem is it makes you sign into PSN before the prompt - hence the issue.

if someone already had the rumble update on their hard drive would it be possible to get it from the hd and post it online?
