First let me start and tell you do not run that game in discords mode as it will corrupt your hdd and you will have to format. Not sure why it does that. Second you have to edit the SFO file to 3.41 as right now it is on 3.50 that is one reason it will not boot. The other you must apply a debug update to get a new working eboot.bin there are several apps to to this or I get mine from ps3news but you have to have an account to download updates. Hope that helps if not google is your friend as there are tons of guides on how to do this as many people have had this happen as well. Also not sure of your payload but I can't run this game under PL3 I have to use hermes v4 as no other ones work for me.
Okay it is refusing to play. I have the BLES00909 version prepatched to 3.41.
1. I have it on my external drive with ASSASSIN_ISO folder in the USRDIR folder.
2. I'm in Hermes3.5 payload.
3. I install the patch from USB Drive.
4. I go to OpenManager 2.1 and I try to play.
5. It tells me "There is a problem with the disc your using. It may be dirty or damaged".
I have no clue what else I can possibly do.
Also I just noticed my game is missing the EBOOT.BIN, is this normal?
Well sounds like you have a bad rip/dump do it again and see what happens. I have had several bad dumps myself from finger prints on the disc.
