Hello, please /palmface me if need be, but I have a question to the great people of this form.
I have a PS3 Slim Version 3.5. I saw the downgrade came out today and would like to downgrade to 3.41 to play backup games. I am not sure what I need or what I need to do, but I have a rooted Droid Incredible if that can help me. Can anyone help me with this?
You'll need to install a modified recovery.img file. Currently Klutsh is the one maintaining that project. He only came out with one version today for one phone (and it isn't yours). Anyway, keep watch here: klutsh.com as he said he'd be doing the rest tomorrow.
thanks for the quick response. So all I need is a rooted phone and the img file that he will put on his site in the future? Is there a tut for this somewhere?
It's just like installing any recovery image file. Go over to xda-developers and find a tutorial there for installing any recovery image to your phone and this will be exactly the same.
Oh so its flashing a new ROM? Is there a tut for after you have the ROM on your device?
No, it's flashing a new recovery image. Find a tutorial on how to flash Amon_RA's recovery or Clockworkmod recovery and do those instructions, but use psfmod as the recovery image.Quote:
