About jailbreaking a slim..

So I bought a ps3 slim with ofw 3.55 320gb with model 2503b... My question is.. If i ever update this one to latest ofw, will I be able to downgrade it with my E3 flasher? I've downgraded my fat ps3.. but the slim model makes me unsure..so yeah, can i downgrade this model if it has the latest firmware?
