4.25 CFW

Hi, i'm new to the scene.

It was said that there isn't any CFW above 3.55, although there is now talk about a 4.21 CFW from Red Team or whatever their name is. However today i was looking up something on Youtube and found a video by "PS3JailbreakMast3r" showing a 4.25 CFW. It looks legit to me but i just wanted to ask if you guys (the experts) heard anything about this?

If a video is placed on youtube with a link to the "CFW" then it is almost certainly a fake. These are just dicks who want to screw you up by tricking you in to installing a CFW that you are unable to downgrade from, or in some cases just outright brick your PS3. I know it sounds pointless, because it is, but so is writing a virus and idiots still do that. NEVER trust a youtube vid (unless it is of a sneezing panda). Only ever take your CFW news from reputable PS3 scene sites, like here

lol I understand what you are saying; I have seen a lot of them fake videos on Youtube. The only reason I asked though is because this vid seems pretty detailed on how to install it etc and the guy even gave details on how to contact him in case of probs,

Do not use Youtube for a source of CFW, MFW or anything related to that, its all fake.

Another good way to tell its a scam is the use of the word "Free" in the description, of course it would be free, this is only added to entice more people. It's been a standard trick of con artists and scammers for years.
