honestly, at this point its like **** it. might as well drop the 250-300 for a ps3 with 3.55 firmware or lower because all hope for a new cfw seems lost.

i cant believe, i dont want to believe, but sony finaly beats the hackers scene, the day had come, sony finally won. i dont think we will have a new CFW. just my opinion... i hope i'm wrong

Theres enough info out there for one to do their own personal cfw's. Problem is, all the guys that believed in sharing the info were threatened or taken down by police and/or court. You wont see a public release anytime soon.

It's still and always has been game over for sony. Only thing theyve done right was release a NEW console recently that probably wont be hacked for another 5 years... All previous consoles are good

Do a ton of research and you might just discover that obtaining those 'keys' for 3.56+ is something that actually IS obtainable.

It'll come out after the PS4 is released. Mainly because Sony will make sure of it. That's how they'll get devs to move to the more secure PS4.

Till then, keep two systems. One for every game with FW 3.55 and lower, and the other for any new ones you want.

i personally believe that there are people out there running games like portal 2 on cfw currently. its possible but like a few posts said, sony has put the fear of god in everyone and they wont release it. now the strange part of my conspiracy theory,lol, is that there are alot of ways to anon upload a new cfw or keys or whatever it is that people need. that either means 1: no one has cracked it yet or 2: they are such narcissists that they NEED the credit/fame. either way, nothing looks too promising as of now. i remember the guy who said he had cracked 3.56+ and would release everything after a 3 week vacation. anyone remember that? lmao. it was front page
