Hi folks, it would be great to get some help on this. I just came up on a backwards compatible that i am going to put on 3.55 kmeaw, and i will make my ps3 slim a ofw 3.77 or whatever sony is at now. Right now they are both at 3.55 kmeaw with 640gb hard drives. Here is what i want to do though and if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great

Ps3 slim currently has all game saves, game updates to work for all jb games and my psn id. I know about backup and restore, but im sure the backup from the ps3 slim will not work on the ps3 fat right? even if they are both on 3.55 kmeaw?

Also, what would be the best way to move the games on the hard drive from the slim to the fatty without ftp? Stupid comcast is capped and i use alot of bandwidth for work so im getting close to my overage and ftp can be kinda slow without hooking up directly to the pc/router

I have over 300gb on my internal on the slim and would like to move that all to the fatty , but dont know the best way how. Im not sure if backup will try to move all the games , and if it did, i know most of them have more than 4gb in size files so it wont copy to a external usb right? I don't know where to start, just dont want to start over, mostly would like to transfer over the game saves and game updates easily from one console to the other. Thanks everyone.
