3.55 downgrade possible on fat, but not on slim

Hi!

A friend told me he did a downgrade to 3.55 on his fat console, in the XMB it would not work, however in recovery mode it did work. He also remembers he was once in 3.56, so he obviously downgrade his firmware.

Are you sure it isn't possible, or is it only possible with a fat one?

VERY VERY sure you can't downgrade from 3.56.
Don't try.

Well now he's on CFW but there's no reason he would lie to me, he helped me for trying too.
If i try, can it be dangerous?

The y say nothing about 3.56 but that it only won't work on 3.60+
