Totally a noob at this, is it possible to downgrade the OFW from 3.61 to 3.55? If it is possible, could someone show me a Tutorial Link.

because there is a whole lot on conflicting info on this site now? theres threads that say you can downgrade threads that say you cant,not suprising people cant find out for real

Simple answer to a simple question, no you cannot downgrade from 3.60 to 3.55, why all the hate talk. Its not nice xD.

Why is everyone saying it's impossible? It's possible with an Infectus, right?

its only possible on NAND PS3s so you gotta have an older one and you have to solder the infectus chip in. It is possible to downgrade but it might be easier to just buy another PS3 with OFW less than 3.56.

I dont think you can downgrade a slim using infectus, its only been tested on NAND(old PS3) and not NOR(newer PS3s).
