I think that its going to take a while until someone test this, its so danger that no one will do it just to confirm that is not fake.

If they are patching updates then I'd wait until a proper patch is created which would allow full system access or something better (CFW).

Mind, this is probably all irrelevant because this news is most likely fake.

I'm damn sure not updating my ps3 with this...

If this was real I'd expect a hell of a lot more of a fanfare than this. But if it was intended to spread and quietly cause as much chaos as possible this is exactly how I'd expect it to be delivered.
