3.50 and devices –

Here I am again, having another problem. There are maby thousands of topics made about this subject but I haven't really found my answer yet. I was hoping you people could help me again. The problem is: the orginal psjb (and their site which I have looked on) don't give any information about whether their psjb is going to be (so not yet!!!) compatible with firmware 3.50. I was wondering if anyone has a clue whether it's possible or not? Why am I asking this: simply because I was planning to get the original psjb from my friend. He sold his ps3 and had his psjb (the original and the first one ever released) left, he knew that I had an ps3 too. Next thing he did was asking me whether I wanted his psjb or not. Ofcourse I was interested, but I didn't want to spend much money on something of what I don't know whether it's going to work on firmware 3.50 or not! OR Should I wait till new psjb's are coming out? So does anyone have a clue on what I possibly could do best, please respond! Thanking you people in advance.
Greetings,
Insomnia

No, you'll have to pay for the ability to upgrade your PSJB device (original from psjailbreak.com) to use it on 3.42/3.50. Word is right now the upgrade will cost $25-$50.

By upgrading you mean getting an new piece of hardware or do you mean paying for a software update? Thank you so much for replying.
