I have a big problem i bought a demo unit back a few years ago because that was one of the consoles which played ps2 games aswelll as ps3 but then i found about the limitation such as not being able to install demos,thems, and even accesing other stuff with the code and and when its jailbroken. So i wondered if someone here could share their 3.41 dev_flash with me from an non demo unit ps3 i would be extremely grateful and might even pay. Hope someone can help me out

This will not work...if it would pretty much everybody by now would have a debug unit made out of its retail console

hmm well its worth a try and im sure something will happen when i load it with firmware loader hope someone can help me out

Black screen will happen, the files you are trying to get here, are encrypted with specific (unique) console keys.
So in clear ... your PS3 will try to decrypt somebody eleses files with an incorrect key which will lead to gargabe data and therefore it wont execute on your PS3.
This has been tried so many several times even with complete NAND dumps, it would be a miracle if you'd ahd this idea before anyone else.

i know there's a payload for kiosk/demo units out there, maybe using that you could install pkg like open manager

oh yeah the pkg and all works fine but for some reason the usage of themes, and demo pkgs are not allowed and im sure it will unlock something i could try and replace some files from my dev flash with the originals dev_flash which might unlock something i hope someone can provide me an dev_flash to experiment on

i know but the problem is you cant extract and decrypt the files from the firmware file thats why i need someones devflash

but the dev_flash folder is just a dump used while updating the ps3, the one that it uses is writed in the nand
the only way will be using that firmware loader that people with 3.01 used to load 3.30 backups, anyway i don't know if they got success
