3.41 CFW

hi guys,

was just wondering if its possible to get something like kmeaw cfw on 3.41 OFW so that i can get the likes of multiman working without dongles (it loads up without dongle but of course it doesnt boot the games)
just not a fan of any kind of fw update.

i would think they would since i think there are many people who would stay on 3.41 since its always safer

just thought of something. is it possible to make a .pkg on 3.41 for the games and install that to load the backups without the managers? similar to the 3.55 way for geohots cfw

^ Hey I know you said your not a fan of CFW, but Kmeaws CFW is solid. I updated my CHECHA from 3.14 to His custom 3.55 and I am happy as ever no need for my dongle. And multiman boots up with no problem and plays my backups. You really should look into it.

yes i almost did it earlier but i'd be more worried of the OFW 3.55 install. everytime i updated the ps3 i prayed it came back on. FW updates from $ony are megacrap. i remember the psp days.

Dude I was in the same position as you...I have a 60gb BC PS3 not some waste slim and I took the jump like many others in my position and the feeling of just turning the PS3 on via controller without this dongle/eject shit is priceless.

Plus the added bonus of online is awesome, just getting my PS3 to download the updates felt like 6 months ago when I did this instinctively.

Trust me, just do it. Kmeaw's CFW is awesome and so is the support so far for it. As long as you can follow basic instructions and verify everything you download and its source, you cannot go wrong.

Yes it is, as a matter of fact, it's been done for quite awhile now if this is what you meant.

Although compatibility is quite low for loading them through external hence the reason for using managers (for me anyways) as I prefer to load my backups off the external and keep my internal purely for game installs and saves (and other backups that absolutely won't work on external).
