About LinkBacksI have a 80 gb jailbroken FAT ps3 and I'm buying a 320 gb SLIM ps3. I want to switch the HDD so my FAT one will have 320gb. I want to remove all traces of JB stuff from the 80gb HDD, so should I factory restore it first? If I factory restore it, what version does it go back to? Can I still JB it again?

02-19-2011,12:59 PMthere is an option to format the 80gb once its in ur slim so do that to be safe. then pop it in recovery mode and download the firmware you'd like onto a USB stick in an /UPDATE folder then that'll be the version that gets installed. NOTE you'll only be able to put the same or newer firmware on the slim unless you use one of the downgrade capable dongles.
