2 days later. Please Help

ok been trying to get this to work for 2 days now. I have read every single post in 2 main threads that were closed and some others. No matter what i always end up with the same results - black screen

1. install 3.55OFW (have done it in recovery and xmb)
2. install kmeaw 3.55 (have done it in recovery and xmb. patched myself or pre patched)
3. install lv2.pgk
4. run lv2.pkg (sucess! run backup manager)
5. start BM, i have tried multiman, newest gaia, open man, rogero
6. select game from HD
7. goes back to xmb and shows the game in the disc icon
8. hit x to launch game = BLACK SCREEN everytime with disc in or out. same thing if i launch thru app_home

I have also tried to fixpermissions. I have tried this on mwf, mwf2, split second & motor storm
I have also formated HDD, USB and restored PS3settings, Re Backed up games

I have also tried the same above with wutang's
OFW>Wutang>Geo>lv2>BM

EDIT: now for some reason when i launch mwf i actually get a splash screen and then a black screen

You should have read little more. MWF and MWF2 doesnt work, never did. Proably same shit with split second and motorstrom as well dont know you can check them if they are playable or not in PS Jailbreak Compatibility List - Home

Ok you are right but motor storm is listed as working but doesnt

List doesnt cover all the games or regions. Try to do diffrent things. If nothings works check your game region and code and sumbit it over there. Your little post will save some time for others.

Ok i am going to try some other games now. So this all probably works I was just using incompatible games. Thanks for the link. I will post here when I am successful.

Also try running the fixpermissions.pkg as you might have permission issues with your drive. You can find it here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f188/sol...eaw-cfw-76999/
