*PS3 HELP* need opinions

Okay so i really want to host modded lobbies on COD games and other games as well.

So, what do you guys think is better? buying a 3.55 ps3 and having 2 ps3's to data transfer or just downgrade my 4.31 to 3.55 and install rebug to go online and just have 1 ps3? (i will send it to someone to downgrade it for me)

also, if i just downgrade my ps3 to 3.55 and use rebug will this ever get patched ? will this let me host for every game?

There is always the possibility that you will get ID/console banned or banned from whatever CoD game you're playing. If you're insistent, I'd buy two PS3s.
