Step 1: Update you PSJailbreak dongle!
Step 2: Take it to your ps3 and unplug/turn off completely and stick the PSJailbreak into any of the usb slots.
Step 3: Flick the power switch on or plug playstation power cord back in and turn it on via jailbreak method.
Step 4: There will be both green and red light on the dongle followed by just green. The playstation will shut off after about 12 seconds.
Step 5: Turn on playstation without jailbreak dongle. Make sure the ps3 is in service mode! Big red box saying "Factory/Service Mode"
Step 6: Put the Modified 3.41 UPDAT.PUP file and .self 1 file on any usb stick

Step 7: insert the usb into the right usb port not the left! And start ps3 normally.
Step 8: The ps3 will have black screen for like 3 minutes so let it do its stuff. Then the green light on the playstation will flash on and off then the system will power down.
Step 9: Take usb out and turn on ps3 normally. Then look under system settings then system info and make sure the FW says 3.41.
Your system will still be in service mode.
Step 10: Now put usb back into computer and remove those files and put
.self 2 file on it.
Step 11: With ps3 off plug in usb into right port again and turn on ps3. It will have black screen for 5-10 seconds then it will power down.
Step 12: Unplug usb and throw it at your little brothers face and unplug cord in the back of playstation or turn off the switch.
Step 13: Plug original PSJailbreak back in and boot ps3 via jailbreak method again. This time tho it will jailbreak your ps3!
