1. If I Upgrade (Iam curently on 3.41 Dongle-JB) is there still the Bug that the PS3 shuts down after I quit a game or Homebrew?

2. My 2nd Controller is from Taiwan (but mostly like an original one), can it be that it dont work after the Firmwareupdate?

3. Will I ever be able to get back to 3.41?

4. Can I boot my Ps3 with my Controller again?

5. Am I able to watch Blue-Ray Movies?

6. Will the upcoming Release LittleBigPlanet2 work with 3.55 CFW?

7. Will there be a better Way to play my Backup-Games than this Eboot-PSN thing?

It is my honest opinion that if you only have 1 ps3 and homebrew is important - stick with 3.41 for the moment.

I know everyone is excited at the prospect of a 3.55 custom firmware, but it's in its very early stages. Much progress has been made, but IMO it's still too soon to jump ship.

3. Will I ever be able to get back to 3.41? A downgrader is out, but going up and down via firmware versions is not something I would do personally

4. Can I boot my Ps3 with my Controller again? Yes, but backup managers wont work (with or without power / eject boot)

5. Am I able to watch Blue-Ray Movies? Dont see why not, if you can now you should be able too

6. Will the upcoming Release LittleBigPlanet2 work with 3.55 CFW? depends, sony could be doing something to it now, unless its already gone gold

7. Will there be a better Way to play my Backup-Games than this Eboot-PSN thing? Give it time

Answers in Bold to the best of my knowledge, to be honest I echo the other posts views, stick on 3.41 and wait

I would put it the other way around.

If backups are important to you stay on 3.41,

Most home brew can be signed and run fine on 3.55 except for backup managers, and that goes back to point 1.

If you have a downgrade dongle or other device you can get back to 3.41. There is a thread in this section with the new 3.55 files.

It is a given that backup managers will work on 3.55+ eventually.

BluRay will be fine. Unless you have a BC phat with Nand flash and decide to downgrade. But if you backup your dev flash3 its a non issue.

Your fake controller maybe not work.

LittleBigPlanet2 is an unknown till its released.

Ive not come across the bug you mention when exiting applications/games. May only be some titles. I can tell you that any thing you sign and make work on 3.55 will be more reliable than with the JB.

One thing I love about the 3.55 situation is not pluging in that stupid dongle and the poweroff eject procedure.
