    Replacing the fan is easy.

You just need a T-10 screwdriver, a phillips screwdriver, some balls to take your PS3 apart and 30 mins to an hour.

Backup your HDD first then look on YouTube for YLOD fix videos. That'll show you how to strip down your PS3 to the point of taking the motherboard out of the case. That is as -far- as you need to go, cos then you just flip it over and unscrew the fan.
    60GB (120GB WD Scorpio Drive) PS3 (CECHA01, NTSC), 3.7OFW
    60GB (640GB Samsung Drive) PS3 (CECHC04, PAL), Kmeaw 3.55, Repaired (Dead Laser)
    PSP-1003 FAT, CFW5.00 M33-6 & Prometheus v2
    X-Box 360 Xenon (JTAG'ed, 500GB HDD)

    I've seen loads on E-Bay.

That's the only place I know to get one.
