    Hello,

For my birthday, I was given a new PlayStation 3 Move System, and I want to modify it.

I have looked around and have seen several firmwares that are available.

Which one should I get and then, after installing Custom Firmware, what packages should I get?

I rent a lot of games to play for my consoles, so keep this in mind if you are catching my drift.

    Sincerely,
    Sao

xoceddie is right, holy shit what's wrong with all of you?

To the OP, the best custom firmware (modified firmware) is kmeaw's firmware. To install it update your ps3 to 3.55 from network update, then install the kmeaw's modified firmware via a usb.

That firmware is the most stable, and runs backup managers. Here is a tutorial on how to install it

The only package you'll need is the new multiman v1.3 and kmeaw's cfw to run backups.

If you do that for the sake of starting trouble (since now im aware of why) you would only get them deleted. That would be a spiteful act on your part because you didnt like the actions that took place in this thread.

We dont just dicipline people by what others 'conclude' from a simple comment. He could have meant anything by that 'hint' and he hasnt broken any rules.

I'm on wininkoko + geo (geojb first) its running fine with some lock UPS but that just from testing back UPS via rogero. Other than some games needing bd while hdd playback is there any reason to swap cfw's

I know that I'm just being ironic. It's not my responsibility to organize the forum which should be in or not.
It would only confuse things further.
