Can anyone tell me what FTP clients work with MyPS2 v1.2 and anything special i might need to do to get them to work? i've tried a few but with no luck. the only succes i've had in networking my PS2 to my PC was with PS2 Reality Media Plater Pro. that worked fine with Ps2Vfs v1.1.1
any help is appreciated. I just wanna get this shit networked to make my file transfers WAAAAY easier since my PS2 ****ed up my flash drive... yes this happens. it bricked my cruzer micro 512MB. sucked.

I use "Directory Opus" myself & I have also used "FTP Voyager". Both work fine for me.

Why not use Samba in MyPS2? It should work with Windows, Mac and Linux.

The best i tried is FlashFXP, its also recommended by the developers of EXECFTP.
I use the release:
FlashFXP.v3.2.0.Build.1080.SCENE.EDITION.iNTERNAL. READ.NFO.WinALL-Pandora

First of all you need to assign an IP to your PS2 in the settings of myPS2. After that you set the gateway to the IP of your PC.
After starting FlashFXP you create a new connection profile for your PS2 (don't know how exactly you do that because it's been a while since i last used FlashFXP). As the host address you enter the IP of the PS2. Depending on your settings in myPS2 you will need a username and password (default is myps2/myps2 i think) or you can login as anonymous. You also have to make sure that passive mode is deactivated in the profile.
That's it, i think.

i didnt realize that the ip and the gateway needed to be different. i always thought they were to be the same. but it still didnt work. i have it set up exactly as you said. and it just keep trying to connect. and failing. i notice one thing though, my config.dat no matter what. when i edit it. if i reload myps2 it resets the ip to 192.168.0.10 when i set it to 192.168.0.2 and saved it... its strange maybe thats the problem, anyone know whats up?

I've had good luck with Filezilla
