I just managed to get the toolchain and sdk working on my linux machine, and managed to compile myPS2 1.2 on it.
I am now working to update the libraries, especially libjpg. I guess it will still take some time before I can release a new version, but at least I'm working on it
To the original poster, I won't include full USB support either I guess because the USBD.IRX file is NOT open source so posting any version with the library included would be posting warez which is not allowed on these forums. This is also the reason why it never was included in myPS2 so far.

In fact PS2SDK now contains a very good version of "usbd.irx" which is used as the embedded default in the current uLE versions. You can compile this as part of PS2SDK, unless you have some problem with the latest PS2SDK version, like we do for uLE.
If so, let me know, and I'll post a copy of the version we use. This is the same IRX version as in current PS2SDK, but compiled previous to the source changes (in other PS2SDK parts) that brought some problems for uLE.
NB: Since this is the PS2SDK version of "usbd.irx", it is not 'warez', like commercial versions would be. So posting it here, or using it in your program, brings no legal 'issues'.
And for "mass:" driver I also recommend the version of "usbhdfsd.irx" that has been bugfixed for uLE (also for use as embedded default). This has many improvements over the old usb_mass drivers.
Of course, you can go ahead with your current plan to not add the USB support too. I just wanted you to know that there are no longer any legal hassles to force that choice upon you.
Best regards: dlanor
