If I leave myPS2 playing a shoutcast stream it will hang after some random time and sound just like a scratched CD. myPS2 becomes unresponsive, cant stop the stream or do anything at all.

I had this same issue with the last release. Damn, I hoped 1.0 would fix it. My guess is that it runs out of buffered data for the stream and goes stupid. But that's just my guess.
Yeah It usually happens when the connection slows down for some reason... I'll pay closer attention and see if thats always the case.Originally Posted by kugeln

The only problem I've haad is trying to change to a different cast after my HDD has stopped.... it should store the list in the PS2's mem... and not on the HDD.
My Maxtor idles down after about 10min.... which means I can't pause games in HDLoader unless they have streaming music... so same applies here.
Mine hangs usually between 37 and 45 minutes.
Hmm well I had mine going for like an hour yesterday because I turned it on then left and came back and it was still going so I don't know. And my maxtor idles but if I pause a game thne come back it jsut takes a little longer to come back then it goes back on no problem.
Awww.. I was hoping this was an issue that was solved. Oh well, I pretty much had the same issue as Double Helix but it tends to be more random than it does a certain time. I hope this issue gets fixed. myPS2 is going great so far.
hm could be a memory leak, i will have a look at it
