Samba question

first off all love the community
and am a SUPER NOOB so dont make fun

now if i read correctly samba allows u to browse an XP drive from your ps2 right?
I would love to do that but i dont understand any of this S&%^
can someone lead me to a easy tutorial that explains all of this or explain how to do this

I wanna know this too :P. I've shared my Music folder and put it in the samba.xml. When I open my music folder in myPS2 it wont open

.
Maybe it's the workgroup? Or did I forget something?

Just read the readme inside the docs folder that comes with myps2, it should tell you how to setup samba, basically you have edit the samba.xml file before you put into the the memory card
