Snakehands,
Do you know anything about the Swap Magic homebrew loading capabilities? Well Swap Magic gives you the ability to load homebrew apps from either a USB Flash Drive or the PS2 MC. Of course you must have this properly set up in order for either method to work. Thank God I do :) I only have problems when trying to boot MyPS2 from the flash drive using the Swap Magic Method. I copied all the MyPS2 files and folders to my mc0:/SWAPMAGIC/ folder and it booted flawlessly from the MC. The only problem is trying to boot MyPS2 from the USB flash Drive using the Swap Magic Method.
OK so I just tried to boot MyPS2 using uLaunch from my USB Pen Drive, as you described, and it worked. OK... so I restarted my PS2 with Swap Magic inserted thinking: it's the same ELF so why won't it work using the Swap Magic method. I waited for Swap Magic to load to the start screen. OK now I tried to boot MyPS2 using the Swap Magic method and I ran into the same problem as before... (the dreaded GUI error.) It's the same ELF I booted from mass: in uLaunch but it won't work using the Swap Magic method.
I wonder what the problem is? Maybe Swap Magic doesn't allow MyPS2 to read the Config.DAT or something. Thanx Snakehands for bringing this to light.
So MyPS2 worked from the USB Pen Drive when using uLaunch to boot the ELF I created. But when trying to Boot MyPS2 from the USB Flash Drive using the Swap Magic method it doesn't work.
There's got to be a way for the Swap Magic Method to work but I think the only ones who can answer that would have to be ntba2 and the people who made loading hombrew apps with Swap Magic possible.
So for all who are trying to boot MyPS2 from a USB Flash Drive using the Swap Magic method... I don't think it's possible. But I could be wrong and hopefully I am because I would like to know how to get it up and running.
If anyone has gotten MyPS2 to work from a USB FlashDrive using the Swap Magic Method for booting homebrew apps... Your knowledge is needed and will be greatly appreciated :) Thanx in advance.

Could someone tell me why my config is not being loaded when myps2 boots up and how to fix it.
