myPS2 v.12 freeze up

First it froze when it asked if I wanted to make a myPS2 partion. Now I get pass that screen since I made the partion myself with HDDFormat ( or whatever, the DMS3 tool) but it freeze up at the same place/time but now I dont get that screen asking if I want to make a partion. All I see is the background image.

I now launch from MC and everything (almost) works fine. Altho I'd rather launch it from HDD.

Any help appriciated.

Ok, below I'm posting a working config for running myps2 from the hdd, the rules for install are simple your sig. states you have a dms3 that means you have both dev1 & dev2 capability; first download and unzip .rar archive, then copy the entire "MYPS2" folder in your "__boot" partition (this means the whole' folder not everything in the folder ), now in your "BOOT" folder for dev1 on your memory card place the BOOT.ELF in the archive in this folder the BOOT.ELF is uLaunchELF. Launch into dev1 (uLaunchELF) and execute the myps2.elf file within the MYPS2 folder under the __boot partition (tested & works).

Personal Notes on myPS2 v1.2:

- will not boot myps2 direcly from dev2

- sometimes it will freeze if you double click on a radio station or mp3 file. (memory leak???)

- running from the hdd you can not switch skins on the fly (BSOD???)

- running from the usb drive myps2 seems to ignore/does not save settings to config.dat (???)

- shoutcast recently changed there main server address & made other changes (reported to ntba2 and he emailed back in the next release this will be fixed)

- for some unknown reason in the default skin mypictures.xml file ntba2 did'nt connect the "cache images" & "go back" options to the left instead it moves to a ID on up from "cache images" that does not exsist within the xml file causing myps2 to freeze (fixed the mypictures.xml so up' from cache images goes to go back and down' from go back goes to cache images)

Notes:

- I'm using the __boot partition because you probably already have this partition...

- Remember to copy the whole MYPS2 folder in the archive not just the files in the folder, don't change or edit...

- let me know of your results, if it still freezes ect...On my end it worked without freezing...

EXAMPLE:

Memory Card:
mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF

Hard Drive:
hdd0:__boot/MYPS2/(all the files in the folder)
