myPS2 Loads to black screen
myPS2 Loads to black screen –

I have my ps2 saved to memory card, but some of the media files inside the skins folder did not save. when i launch myPS2 it goes past the first screen where it does all the loading and turns black. i'm guessing the next step is for it to work but i havn't got that far yet. does anyone have any idea why it loads to a black screen and sits there?

If an xml file calls for a media file and the media file is not present, this will cause the BSOD; run uLaunchELF and delete your media folder then re-copy.

delete myps2 from your memory card and click here, use uLaunchELF.

no, it doesnt work with hdloader
if you don't want to completly remove myps2 from the memory card try using uLaunchELF instead of ps2menu...

under what partition are your myps2 files located, what is the folder name or are the myps2 files under the partition root? you need to modify the config.dat to run myps2 from the hdd, I can post a config.dat for you but I need to know the partition & path...did you try using the dev1 install I posted? ps2menu is sorta outdated, I would use uLaunchELF...

i have all the files installed in a folder named "myPS2" on the "hdd0:" partition so it looks like this "hdd0:+myPS2" is that correct? if so i have made the 2 entries to the DAT file im just not sure if they were correct. could you clarify the format of those for me. and i realy apreciate the help.
