so you do need a hd to install this program? it says it can be done without but i cant see how, went to there site and all in the forums they speak dutch.
They speak deutsch, germanBut I'll check this version out for myself. I never tryed myPS2 but it seems promising so I'll check it out tomorrow.
yeah bigmichiel if you can find out how to run that let me know.
Just heard there's a very indept instruction manual or something in the file that you download. So I guess that's gonna be the help I need![]()
i read that tutorial it seems you still need a hd to really work with that program. could be wrong but all of this is still new to me.
in the end i ran ulaunch or something like that and copied the files to my memcard with a usb stick, works like a dream except i cant connect to the net radio, i think i haven't setup my network properly yet, something to mess about with though. a good piece of work done by these guys well done
can't get it to work eitherWell, I wont give up
if you have a modchip in your ps2, and a memorycard with at least 600 kb free space. It's not a problem. I'm running it on my memorycard, you just have to burn a program that can transfer the files from the cd (like myps2). I have a dms4 lite modchip, the only thing I need to do is, burn the files including a edited "system" file. I don't know what kind of file it is, but most of the bootable cd images is using it. In this file you rename the current source file the system file is looking for the myps2.elf file.
It works for me. Try find a bootable cd image of any other file transfering program for ps2.
In other case, if you want, I could give you the system file.
I've used the edited system file and still it just boots to a black screen. Any idea why?
I want to boot from cd that way I can leave it in my ps2, and just turn on the ps2 and it will boot directly without me having to go through any other menus. Right now i'm using ps2menu in that fashion, but this program seems like it is more suitable for me.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
