MyPS2 "Error while parsing GUI XML files!" from mc0: –

I'm using the independence exploit to try to boot MyPS2 v 1.2 but I keep crashing with this error. I have edited my TITLE.DB file to point to MYPS2.ELF instead of BOOT.ELF as suggested in another thread and I have replicated the entire package in mc0://MYPS2/ as well. Neither of these solved the problem. I edited the TITLE.DB file to point to mc0://MYPS2/MYPS2.ELF but that made the exploit flash white then red and crash at that point so that's no good. What is the problem here? Is it the CONFIG.DAT file? I've tried it both with the distro version and with no CONFIG.DAT whatsoever but the result is the same. I can't find any explaination of the format for this file and people seem to have many switches in theirs that I don't have in mine. Is this the problem? I am fairly commited to using this as a dashboard since it looks very professional from the screens I've seen but it's becoming a problematic configuration. Again, I am running this from mc0://BADATA-SYSTEM using the independence exploit. Thanks for the help!
