I got mine from Naplink dl. It works just fine for me as long as I put it in the MC0 root folder (not BXDATA-SYSTEM). When browsing MC0 make sure the IRX is in the same root as the BxDATA-SYSTEM folder. I have had a problem with it once, where it would open the mass folder, but would not display files. I had to re-install the whole thing to get it working again.
thanks for help but I have already made this test and it does not work
myPS2 will look for the USBD.IRX module in the installation directory first. If it can't find the file in the installation directory it will then look for the module on the memory card in the following places:
- mc0:/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/SYS-CONF/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/BOOT/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/BOOT/SMS/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/BOOT/PS2MP3/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/SMS/USBD.IRX
- mc0:/PS2MP3/USBD.IRX
and iam using the first one and its working for me ..(mc0:/SYS-CONF/USBD.IRX )
btw :iam running myps2 from hdd
already tried but it says "Loading USBD....FAILED"
already tried but it doesn't work
ummm ..i got mine working for a few days ..
iam running from hdd ..i followed that Tutorials and its working ..
so where are you running from CD,HDD,MC ,USB ?
works well from MC/CD but it doesn't load the module usb in both cases therefore it doesn't recognize the usb pen
mine also wasnot recoginized in the first ..so i got the USBD.IRX and created a SYS-CONF in my mc and put the USBD.IRX in the SYS-CONF
and then when i run its working and i can acess my USB drive ..
and you know the SYS-CONF (case sensetive )
