Myps2 Bugs Report.

Hi all just found a problem with Myps2 1.0.
It is case sensitive on jpg files
.jpg=Able to View
.JPG=Unable to View

anyone has such a problem
I'm viewing off usb hdd.

what is the jpg resolution that the jpg viewer can display ?
I have done further testing I have renamed .JPG to .jpg ....the file does not seem to view,resolution 1280x960 .This only happen to jpg that is not able to be thumbnail out of the application when jpg is selected I would not be viewed


Resolution
1024x768-some able and some not able
1280x960-totaly cannot

The screen was all fkd up when i selected USBD.IRX from MC0:\and the tried to copy it to MC0:BOOT\

It freezed up on my 9 times in 1 hour while playing an MP3 and ftp-ing at the same time.

I hope this version fixes some of the loading problems. I have tested it with:

uLaunchElf (MC,USB,HDD)
KeyLauncher (MC,HDD)
PS2OS (MC,HDD)
PS2Menu-K (MC,HDD)
Infinity Manager (MC)

It also improves localization support, translations are no longer limited to ASCII characters only.

HI have tested myps2 1.1 .....It runs much smoother right now.not much lag when going thru the gui,Mp3 play file is a bit faster /browse jpg folder is a bit faster as well.............but't problem is still there!! unable to load via USB HDD......>error loading gui string table failed<

:created folder myps2 1.1 in usb hdd and load from there.

Anyone Out there facing such a problem or is me alone?

Anyone else found that 1.1 is very easy to freeze/crash? (I did not try 1.0) I've just been messing around with it, booting from cd. I find no matter what I do it will not load usbd.irx, it always gives the failed response when it tried to load it. The shoutcast player will freeze seemingly sporadicly while playing music, as well as many stations will freeze the PS2 when I try to access them. It will freeze when playing MP3s, I put a bunch on the myPS2 disk I made just to act as filler. It got though about 5 songs then froze. I also tried the FTP side and managed to freeze the program while attempting to upload a file to the HD, I was using FlashFXP.
What I'm wondering is since I'm running myPS2 off a cd is that causing the freezes? or is it something else?
I have a version 7 PS2 with a DMS3 V2.0 chip (Last Beta Firmware)

it still has problems with FTP... sometimes I can't copy everything (few files at once). Files are not copied at all or only 512 byte are copied...

About the usbd.irx, i tried one from GT4 (34,993 bytes) and myps2 1.0 froze on me when loading it but the one from the demo cd (30,285 bytes) works fine for me.
Be sure to have it named like this : USBD.IRX

I'have used usbd.irx from namlink....working for any other program only myps2 don't work

I'm using the usbd.irx from naplink (others don't work with my usb stick) and Keylauncher 0.5.3 to boot MYPS2.ELF.
When starting MyPS2 1.1 it stops after "Checking for HDD presence: OK" and "Checking HDD status: OK"

HDLoader and SMS 1.5 work fine with the HDD :S
