How to Fix This???
Strings Table are OK. Now The Next step always the same error!
I do many tries to fix this problem i've read em many forums like changing the command lines in CONFIG.DAT and copying skins in main folders and nothing happens. Still the same problem.
Anyone has some .ISO or .BIN/CUE File working properly to solve this??
This is the same question of many users. Many downloaded it and waste discs for nothing.
Sorry for the Bad English. Thanks.
EDIT: I'm Running from CD.

It does say in the myPS2 docs that you need to make changes to one of the files if you're not running direct from the memory card. This is certainly true if running from USB, so I assume would be the same for CD.

Sorry for more trouble but it's still not fixed my problem.
I'm trying run from CD and i'm using Nero Burning Rom 6.6.1.8 to burn the MyPS2 image.
Always get ERROR WHILE PARSING GUI XML FILES!
From Some way my memory card don't write any archive .ELF
Regular save games works flawlessy but i can't copy anything.
My modchip are a Murano III Grande CL. It's not compatible with devolution modes.
I wasted many cd's trying get MyPS2 working on my pstwo. If someone have a image that i can burn on cd's and works well i'm thankfull.
Sorry for the bad english.

I am still also having this problem. I've been using a distro copy of HD Advance to load an FTP program I transferred over the network to the hard drive in order to manipulate the memory card files and I can get the Independence exploit to boot Keylauncher but no matter what I do, I always get "Error while parsing GUI XML files!" no matter where on mc0 I put them. I've tried booting them from /BADATA-SYSTEM and /MYPS2 and even from the root. I've tried editing the title.db file to activate the actual MYPS2.ELF file as well as renaming that file to BOOT.ELF and using a Keylauncher BOOT.ELF to boot it from all three of the directories. I've tried holding down all four shoulder buttons for safe mode. I've tried booting it on several different PS2s also but no luck. No matter what I do, I still get "Error parsing XML GUI files!" and I can't figure it out for the life of me. It's driving me nuts! I must have tried fifty different combinations! Doesn't someone have an explaination for this?

awhile back I posted some files to help assist users having trouble running myps2 from disc/dev1*; If you?re going to install to the memory card (dev1*) delete any existing myps2 files/folders on your memory card before using the dev1* install...click here!
* = requires modchip compliance

Okay I downloaded your BIN file and extracted the BOOT and MATRIXTEAM directories. At first I just copied everything in the BOOT directory to my /BADATA-SYSTEM/ directory because I'm running the Independence exploit. This time instead of the parsing gui xml files error message, it just crashes to a black screen at that point in the boot process. I went ahead and put the BOOT and MATRIXTEAM directories on the memory card also but still the same crash. I edited the TITLE.DB file to point to the mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF file but that just gives me the red screen I'm used to getting when I try to get it to boot from any directory other than BADATA-SYSTEM. So still no dice. What is the directory structure supposed to look like? Is it vital that it boot from the mc0:/BOOT/ directory to work right? What's the story here?

no, it's not required* to place the files in any particualar directory. myps2 could be taking issue with the indepenence exploit
try using a different ps1 disc to launch???
* = required for dev1 (mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF), dev2 (__boot/boot.elf), independance exploit (mc0:/BxDATA-SYSTEM/BOOT.ELF)
