I hope this version fixes some of the loading problems. I have tested it with:

uLaunchElf (MC,USB,HDD)
KeyLauncher (MC,HDD)
PS2OS (MC,HDD)
PS2Menu-K (MC,HDD)
Infinity Manager (MC)

It also improves localization support, translations are no longer limited to ASCII characters only.

I got it to start off the hdd using uLaunchelf, but it gets to a second screen that says "Please wait..." and it doesn't load any further. It said everything was OK so I was wondering if it might have something to do with the new font system - was everything in the .xml files directed to the right font folder and file type? Or could it be something else?

Have you read the readme file? You have to add two lines of code to the Config.DAT, to run it from the HDD.

I can get the program to run from the MC, USB, but still not the HDD. I changed the CONFIG.DAT file accordingly, but the program hangs before it loads the network settings when I run it from the HDD. (by the way, it's nice that it tells you that it's parsing the .xml files instead of giving you a blank screen) I noticed that it says "SetElfPath host:/" instead of the hdd0 path I put in the config file. Has anybody gotten this to run from the HDD? If so, could you send me your working CONFIG.DAT file so I can use it as a template?
