HDD & USB Problems

Alot of people have problems booting the program from HDD or USB.
There are some that bugs I didn't think of, for now you should just
try to install the program to your memory card.

If anyone wants to help fix those bugs, the 1.0 source code is in ps2dev.org svn.

hi all,
Im runnning myps2 1.0 in MC.
I have a few questions.
1.)Can thumbnail caching being cache in the usb Hdd/because under setting the directory can be change?I did saw a big improvement after doing that but however the jpg thumnails does not seems to appear the file appear unrecongnise with a ! marking?
2.)I'm able to play mp3/run elf off my usb hdd but jpg thumbnail and viewer doesnt seem to work ?
3.)My usb hdd is formated in fat32

I found why jpg viever and thumbnails is not working ......
Myps2 is case sensitive on jpg files ......
.jpg reconise,but if in capital .JPG files are not reconnise !\

I installed it on my mc0 and lyra mp3 player. It boots off the player, and freezes on HDD initialization, and on mc0, i get the black screen. I determined that the b.s. problem on mass was due to it booting in pal mode (it b.s.ed on mass before i did this) I fixed that much by editing skin.xml in the skin area. but the same trik wont boot it on mc0

You need to turn your partitions on in MyPS2 config. Highlight a partition & press square. Move onto the next partition & you will see the first one has changed colour.

after a long and painful @$$raping of myPS2, it finaly boots for me. i am a dev ( not a great one though). I was just wondering if you would take a few patches from me if i emailed em to ya. I kinda want to work on a few features i saw in svn.

when i load myPS2 from my usb stick, it loads and then freezes on the part that says something about "loading usb mass storage device: OK" how do i get past this point?

i have it on the memory card and it loads up but when it gets to the part where its loading the partitions it just doesn't do anyting the screen stays the same and u can hear it accessing th hdd but it never goes anywhere from there.
