I have this problem too. Actually, I think most of people here (if not everyone) have it.
i have the same problem and tried (almost) everything...
Let's find similarities... I have:
- alcatel 560 router and NAS server
- hccnet via kpn - netherlands
- ps2 V7 with messiah-2
problem is solved. i tried the 2ns DNS ip adress from my provider --> working....
shoutcast with the ps2 is awsome
hi @ all !
have anyone a "ready to go" shoutcast-list whats working with my ps2. so he can give it here to all als attachment-file
i´ve tryed every possibility with the dns adress (router as dns, isp as dns... everything) but it is still not wirking. i use host/ftp with ulaunch, ftp with myps2, online gaming, streaming with sms, everything is working fine, only this will not do so...
an my idea is that i can kill the problem for me if i use a ready list. maybe ...
Are you unable to create your own playlist in Winamp? I could provide one but it is mainly full of 80's radio stations, I imagine that other people also have their own tastes in their playlists. I tried one with hundreds of stations but it ran too slow to be of any use.
i dont use winamp - i just want to know if it (myps2shoutcast) works or not. but most of the less people who got this working have tould me about touble with the speed and puffering so i´ll wait for newer versions an then i´m going to try it again..
Here's a playlist I've created using Winamp
(Nickelback radiostation )
