I had a small request for your coding talents if I may. As you know, FMCB doesn't support HDD's directly, and the features of the hacked/decrypted OSD browser 2.0 are most likely never going to be integrated. I thought perhaps to remedy this, a forwarding tool might be useful. Instead of a full blown ULE, a small ELF program, GUI-less, that parses a simple CNF to load a defined ELF from another location, but this forwarder has the HDD drivers. I'm aware ULE can be setup to achieve this already, but the goal here is speed and more importantly file size. A tiny redirect ELF on the memory card allowing direct app loading from the HDD, seamless from a FMCB OSDSYS launch. Also, ideally the CNF parse should only happen from the working folder of the ELF itself, and not any predefined paths; this way you can have a handful of these elfs littered around the memory card in sub folders, pointing to different applications, without any conflicts.
I know you're a busy guy, but I had a hunch it would be easy to just rip the code you need right out of the ule base. Hope you're enjoying the holiday season; cheers from a fan.

Hi
Here is an app what you requested. Its based on ule and only read cnf from mc where elf is placed. In archive there is an example of cnf file and source code.
I've put this utility through it's paces, and it works wonderfully. Only a couple of apps that don't chain, namely GS Mode Selector, but the space saving is so low on the memory card it's negligible. Thank you *very* much belek666 for your help. It seems you've made several more people apart from me very happy also. Thank you for the early Christmas present.
dlanor, if you're reading this at a later date, know that there's a large community of people who love and respect both you and your work. Sadly, the greatest fan base is always the least vocal. So let me be one of the few who wishes you a safe and swift recovery if you are indeed under the weather. Time and time again you step up to answer simple questions in the most extensive detail, and your "best regards" signature I imagine, is of legendary status now. You are much admired and respected on this little community of pro action.
