I agree that this would be nice, but as stated above we cant do it right now. At present we perform formatting by calling a function in the device driver, and that function doesn't accept any parameters at all... So all the extra partitions and their sizes are chosen by defaults in the device driver.
Or even better, when you choose to format your hdd using uLaunch, a option that allow the user to choose the partition sizes for such partitions?
No. Even with a major rewrite that is not possible. 128 MB is the minimum size of an allocation unit for PS2-formatted partitions. (That's not to be confused with file allocation units in filesystems inside such partitions, as those units are much smaller.)
Also, another question, for the __boot partition, winhiip allowed me to set it to 128mb minimun... is there the possibility to make a even smaller? like 32mb or so?
