same here using 2GB SanDisk works fine .
Or just use a SD card in an SD card reader, works fine for me.
Hardware: PS2 v7 (GH-022) NTSC | Crystal Chip 2.0 Pro SLE | Sony Network Adapter | 300GB Segate HDD
Software: uLaunchELF 4.40 | HDLoader 0.8c | HDL_Dump 0.8.6+GUI | SMS 2.9 (Rev.3)
My Projects: uLaunchELF - skins/template | skin template readme | documentation (contributor)
I have to agree on the Sandisk and Lexar drives, though the Lexar drives are not 100% compatible with all software that uses USB. Notably certain SMS drivers and codebreaker.
I have had everything from card readers to cameras in USB mode work with uLE. Just try anything that would be seen by a normal computer as a USB storage device.
uLE v4.39aa beta released
uLE v4.39aa beta released –
Like the subject says, I've just released uLE v4.39aa beta, in the first post of this thread as usual.
Here 'aa' should be seen as a two-digit 'number', using letters as digits, so "aa" is the number directly after " z" (as in the previous v4.39z beta). It's a bit awkward, but we never really planned to have as many as 27 betas before reaching the next stable version...
LaunchELF v4.39aa beta (2009.08.24)
-Fixed a weird 'strcat' bug that used to break TextEditor 'Save As...' pathname
-Suppressed FileBrowser display of garbage filesize + timestamps for ".." links
-Rearranged init of pad & CDVD modules to avoid problem detecting pad mode
-NB: The above fixes an old problem with pad running amok with disc-control ON
The FTP server is still completely unable to access MC through the new MC device driver by jimmikaelkael. This is a problem out of my hands, and I can only hope that he will fix this by a new driver release ASAP.
The weird "mass:" results reported by some users may also still exist in this version. Since I haven't seen those problems in my own tests yet there is little I can do about it.
About the fixed pad issue:
It is still possible to replicate the old problem by disconnecting and reconnecting the gamepad while uLE is running. This will reset the pad hardware to digital mode while the pad device driver is still set for analog mode, which triggers the 'amok' mode. All indications are that the real bug causing this behaviour is inside the pad device driver, but with the new uLE beta it should never be triggered when using the console normally, without hotplugging gamepad in uLE. Even if you do that, it should now always be fixable just by pressing the mode button of the gamepad, to make it enter analog mode again.

Release of: "Spanish LNG JoeTorres Rev1"
Release of: "Spanish LNG JoeTorres Rev1" –
Like the title implies, I just added the file "Spanish LNG JoeTorres Rev1.zip" to the thread for support files of uLE, in the post right here (Release thread for uLaunchELF support files).
I changed the name a bit compared to what we discussed earlier, so as to come up with a unique name that would specify the file precisely, and still fit the 32 char name limit of a memory card. So the name of the unpacked LNG file is now "Spanish LNG JoeTorres Rev1.lng".

How did you manage to run uLE with pcsx2??? or how did you get these screenshots?

As for PCSX2, current versions of uLE (as well as many other homebrews) do not work with it.
(My own last test of this was for PCSX2 v0.9.4)
I believe that uLE v3.79 is the last version to run with PCSX2, because later uLE versions use PS2 features not implemented by the emulator.

Thanks for the info...
No man, no way to get a videocard, I don't even own a PC, I use pcs at work. I tested PCSX2_0.9.6 and ule loads fine, even the config file, but freezes at startup, no way to use it. I asked this because I don't have any PS2 console, and I would like to test some things, but no luck, anyway, thanks for your replays.
just curious : where did you get the ps2 bios from?
