I have ULE 4.30 loading from cd without the cnf and well lets say i am really lost, so i have a few questions.

How can i get ULE to save to a memory card and boot every time the ps2 starts? or is this even possible?

Why does my Kingston DataTraveler 1gb card not show any files when mass is selected and why do i have to mess around with the drivers to even get it to not freeze when selecting mass?

Ive read that these sticks have had problems in the past but i was to understand that people had them working now and it was ok to use them.

Last question is how would i be able to insert another disk while launching ule from cd to be able to install fmcb?

Thanks in advance for your answers

First thing, you could just burn data to a cd, I would think, and it should work. If you have AR Max you could try buring a CD with it's provided media maker

If you have 007 Agent Under Fire then I know an exploit you can use to boot FMCB 1.5 directly, then install 1.7, but if you already can get uLaunch to boot, let's try getting your flash drive working.

First, if you, or someone you know, has a PSP, just use that to start the installed. ULE recognizes these fine

To get the Kingston drive working, ULE and other homebrew can only read true FAT32 formatted drives. Even if the drive says it's formatted in FAT32, try reformating it in Vista under that option. Don't use XP. If you can't get ahold of Vista or a PSP I can find you an app to format the card correctly. If the drive is STILL incompatible, my advice is to just pick up a 2 or 4 giger from Office Max or some other hardware store for like 10 bucks
