uLE doesn't boot via DVD
uLE doesn't boot via DVD –

Good afternoon,
Today I have been reading many tutorials about running uLaunchElf in my PS2 in order to install FCMB in my memory card.
After reading few threads and downloading the archive itself, I burned it to a DVD-R and tried to run in my PS2.
However to my surprise, it boot only at the very start, when I press reset to turn on the console (with the disc included obv.)
After I turn on and it starts to read the disc, it goes black for about 5 seconds (just like it usually do to load any game), then it returns to the main screen, where I can see my memory card and a golden disc (?).
If I try to run it again by selecting the golden disc, the same thing happens over and over again.
My PS2 is SCPH-39000, it also contains a Messiah or Ripper 3 modchip (It's either one of those since I need to press "reset" twice in order to play PSX games.)
Does anyone had encountered such problem? Or have any ideas to what I should do or what I missed before?
Looking forward to an solution. Many thanks!

If you have a modchip and can play burned discīs, follow the tut below, cause you donīt need to burn a DVD with uLE to start the installer....
Install FMCB from a CD

Hey, firstly I would like to thank you for replying here!
After a hour or two posting this thread here, someone recommended me to follow this tutorial you just posted.
Everything went fine, besides the installation. I even formatted my MC and tried to do a clean install of it, but the custom menu just doesn't boot correctly (I still see the PS2 boot screen)
But as it relates to FMCB, is better make a new thread on its proper forum right? I don't want to disorganize anything here.
Well, thanks again for your assistance!
