The writeing is about 3-5 pixels higher.
I can't take a screen shot because my phone camera is only 1.3 MegaPixels, and you could not see anything.
I'll edit the pic, but I'll only be able to upload it in a few hours when I go down town.
no hurry, i just wanted to know where it shows outside of the 'area', so i can adjust it to stay 'universal' for both PAL and NTSC, without needing a whole new template, unless its that drastic of a difference.
How about the ule version display, is that also out of the lines?
Is not that drastic, but you can see it even if you don't look for it.
The uLE version display is exactly at the limit.
I'm editing the pic right now, I'm taking all the measurments, so you can see exactly how it show up on my TV.
I will also post a pic of the recent GUI I made. It is made w/o the GUI Template, with trial and error, it looks perfect on my PAL TV, so you can test it on your NTSC TV and see if there are any mistakes.
This is the reason why I made uLE skin templates for both NTSC and PAL way back when we first started making skins for uLE. I have it in a Photoshop *.PSD file (layered) or the BMP versions here (uLaunchELF Skins Thread (v3.52+)) (also in my signature).

This is the GUI template we are talking about, not the regular backgrounds. I have those as well, but made a GUI one as a universal template since i was under the impression that it worked fine for both, so now im trying to find out if i've been wrong all along.

lol.. well maybe I misunderstand here what you guys are talking about, but I said "uLE skin templates for both NTSC and PAL", not the regular backgrounds. Aren't you guys talking about the slight differences between the PAL and NTSC layout (pixel differences) and the need of having a separate template for both?

Yes, we were talking about the templates, sorta.....but only the GUI template, not the templates for the regular backgrounds.
I made 3 templates before with soluku's help on the PAL.
NTSC
PAL
GUI
But i was under the impression the GUI Template was good for both the NTSC and PAL display as a universal template, but Ichigo has alerted me that it might not be good for both as a universal template....so im trying to find out if i should make a separate one for PAL or not.
Here, i attached the Templates i made and theres a tutorial i also made that flamingo24 added to the first post.

Ahh.. yes I see. I actually haven't even tried to make any skins for that new GUI feature yet, I guess I just like the old layout and didn't see a need for a change yet.
Ok, finally I made it... sorry for the mess on your GUI, but What is important is there...
The red line that are in top-left are just in the limits... so the cnf status (saved or loaded) is just between these two lines...
And here is my recent GUI that I made for my PAL TV w/o the Templates....
EDIT: The red line in the top right is where the uLE version display starts...
