go to configure,screen settings,once more skin settings
Skin path: wallpaper goes here (ntsc or pal) depending on your console
where it says GUI skin path: the gui skin goes here remember to apply the skin.
go to return to go back to the main skin settings and press return again.
once thats done go to startup settings all the way down the list the last one
you will see a path that says font file select it and go qhere to put your new font and select your new font.
I've made some changes from the skin packaging i normally do.
Ive decided to add a SYS-CONF folder , just as a default location for the ease of everyone's benefit as well as my own.
The images, icons, skin.cnf and any fonts will be in this folder. You can just take the contents out and put them where ever you want or just copy the whole folder if you dont already have one.
I've included a ReadMe in place of the usual skin settings text, with the settings included for those who still wish to do it manually.
Soon as i can, i will update the previous skins with this new package style.
Oh, and i didnt make a font for this one.....just coudnt get it to look like the games font supposed to and still be readable......sorry.
*updated RE4_PAL.CNF*

Reason: Fixed PAL settings for skin.cnf
Looks great!! But I believe Ntsc is pal and pal is ntsc it works great i made the changes already at least for me but i dont understant I try to make GOW2 B
CNF file Everything went ok but i had to fix Y,X couldn't load the gui with the default config because the gui was off everytime it didn't matter if it was pal or ntsc screen was off so i had to fix the cnf files X,Y iam confuse of what make this work like this even know i try with the original X,Y config.
it was not that hard copying your CNF files change the .CNF to .TXT open config close Change the .TXT to .CNF again you know the drill..
@JNABK:
I've been looking over the files in "RE4_ule_skin.rar" and it appears to me as if the CNF file for PAL was really generated in NTSC resolution, resulting in erroneous values for Screen_X and Screen_Y. This was probably necessary because your TV set doesn't handle PAL resolutions, as is common for NTSC sets. For such cases you can calculate suitable screen offset values according to these formulas.
I also found that both the PAL and the NTSC CNF files have "TV_mode = 0", meaning that the skin was saved with "Auto" TV mode selected. That will not have the wanted effect of switching between NTSC and PAL resolution when the user alternately loads these CNF files, instead using NTSC for both CNFs on an NTSC console, and likewise using PAL for both CNFs on a PAL console. Users who want to test both resolutions will need to switch it manually.
Another thing that surprised me is that you used "uLE:/" paths only in the PAL CNF, but not in the NTSC CNF. I guess you were just a bit too hurried in preparing the release, and simply forgot changing it for the NTSC CNF.

I had made the re4_NTSC.CNF first, so when i made the RE4_PAL.CNF i had forgotten to change the X,Y settings to PAL's default. I've fixed the setting to :
Screen_X = 652
Screen_Y = 72
The NTSC should all be correct.

When you 'save skin cnf', make sure you press START button to give it a file name, so if you didnt do that, it could be the reason .
TIP: When editing a .CNF file you dont need to change the extension, just open a notepad document and drag the .CNF into it and it will display. You can simply edit it and save.

Yep, you are 100% correct, i did create the PAL with a NTSC .cnf, but i've changed the settings to the default as i believe its the default. Hopefully its correct now.
I did kinda rush it and updated the file, but used the un-edited NTSC and placed it into the rar by mistake, ive also corrected that too. Then i noticed you posted while i was doing all that. The only thing i have'nt fixed is the TV mode, as i thought Auto would be good for both settings. I'll fix that ASAP.
Thanks for the feedback.
*edit*
Fixed TV mode for both NTSC and PAL. So hopefully everything is now corrected and i can move on to another skin.
