So i burned the v 4.38 of ule to a cd and it loads up fine in ps2 but when i browse for files on mass (usb) it just stops responding and hangs on that screen indefinetly. I have a modchip and ps2 version is scph-75004.
    Thanks in advance.

    P.S:USB is properly formated.

You might want to run a disk check on those disks before using them again on your PS2.
If their filesystems were damaged, the chances of a crash on your PS2 would be probably quite high.

If you are using a USB HDD, try to give it some more power before connecting it to your PS2 (Either by using a Y-cable or by plugging in an external AC adaptor).

not all thumb drives are compatible with the homebrew USB drivers. that version of uLe also has older drivers. why dont you install the latest FMCB newbie package to a MC next time you boot that CD ? then you wont need to use it any more and can keep the elf's you use up to date...... ???

well you can delete the elf files you dont use and use the configurator to remove them from the OSDSYS menu..... also add ones you might use like emulators...

also FMCB will boot from the second MC slot so if you were worried about enough save space then put another MC in slot 1 for saves.

It's not even necessary to go that far, the hacked OSD doesn't display items that don't have an ELF file at the set location. Though I agree the CNF would be neater.

true but they still take up space on the MC . if you delete them you have more room for saves or other elf's.
