That's very easily explained. AR Max is simply not a very good launcher, and has no real compatibility to any homebrew software.

it also freezes on launching PSXLauncher ELF but works fine for Swap Magic 3.3 ELF.
I'm not sure how to interpret this end of your sentence.

According to correct grammar you are still talking about AR Max freezing or not when trying to launch those two elfs. But that makes no sense, since that has nothing to do with uLE.

You could also be talking about uLE freezing or not when trying to launch those two elfs, but that also makes no sense, since Swap Magic is a boot-up tool.

So I think you mean that uLE freezes when being launched by PSXLauncher, but not when being launched by Swap Magic 3.3 (a very well known fact).

As for PSXLauncher, this is the first I ever heard of the program, so I have no idea how it works or how reliable it is. But I do know that there are dozens of xxxxxx-launcher programs around that fail with appx half the elfs tried... I can't say if PSXLauncher is one of those or not, but I can't exclude the possibility.

    Whats the deal? ThankS!
Like I described above, but since you have Swap Magic you're all set, as you can use it to boot uLE without problems.

Thanks for the reply dlanor....i might have to use the SM 3.8 for booting Homebrew. Anyways...PSXLauncher is elf that boots PSX games with a swap....its like a elf verison of Breaker Pro/PSXChange/etc... that boots PSX Imports/Backups/Orginals with one swap....if you want it i will gladly post for you...works great with exploits and probally Memento.

    Thanks again.

    here it is....enjoy.

I think that is your best choice.

I've never favored swap methods, and I simply won't touch those that require fiddling with the CDVD tray sensor.

Anyway, if it is intended for commercial PS1 games, then it stands to reason it had no chance to boot a PS2 homebrew like uLE.

if you want it i will gladly post for you...works great with exploits and probally Memento.

I couldn't download from there. A page tells me I need to 'enable cookie', even though I haven't blocked cookies.

    Best regards: dlanor
