    i use my flash drive all the time with ulaunchelf,but it doesn't read my hard drive,it was an internal hd but i attached an adapter that turns it into an external hd,can any1 help?

    You mean that that HDD is connected to the PS2 via the USB?
    Then it's accessed via mass:, and not hdd0:.

    The device must be FAT32 formatted too.
    Unmodified SCPH-77006 with SM 3.6
    SCPH-39006 with M-chip modchip, SCPH-10281 NA and refurb Seagate 80GB HDD
    SCPH-10000 v1.00 with SCPH-10190 PCMCIA NA and SCPH-20400 HDD unit

    You say you have a "flash drive" and it works all the time.

    Right?

    Now you took your internal HDD, which you used with a Network Adapter, and HDL, or OPL, and all worked fine. Now you put it in an external case and want to use it with USB plug?


    It's not going to play that way. The setups of the HDD, are different from internal and external.

    You CAN NOT just swap them back and forth, and exspect them to work.

    no i mean i took the internal hard drive off my PC,put on an adapter with an external power supply but my slim ps2 didn't see it?

    You must format your HD, to FAT32 (Filesystem) and can access it through the "mass:"-device, as it is shown in uLE's filebrowser.
