uLaunchELF didn't work any more
uLaunchELF didn't work any more –
After replacing the battery on the main-board of my 39001, uLE (both v3.78 and v4.02, on a disc) didn't work any more, I can only got nothing but black screens. And, everything else just works fine (Games, other programs on that disc like SMS, PS2Menu-K, CodeBreaker).
Any help, please? Thanks.
Do you try it with a chiped PS2 cause you have "uLE both v3.78 and v4.02, on a disc" ???
Have you installed FMCB ??
Thanks for reply.

Also, I've been trying to follow this tutorial: Launch Free MC Boot Installer using Codebreaker (8.1 or newer)
(I cannot post links now, sorry.)
Everything went well until "Press (TRIANGLE) once to bring it back to the main menu. Now select Exit SMS. You should now see uLaunchELF on your screen." I got a black screen, too.
Turn your PS2 off, take your MCīs off so there is no MC in the slots and try it again....
If uLE comes up, then maybe you must delete LAUNCHELF.CNF (cfg-file from uLE) from your MC....
And why do you try to install FMCB over Codebreaker??
You have already a chiped PS2, take the normal cd-burn installation below....
I've tried, but no lucky. Took off MC, I still got a black screen.
Also, I have a FMCB installed MC now, but it doesn't work too. My PS2 halt on the 1st screen ("Free McBoot"), and the OSD menu doesn't appear.
I've owned this PS2 about 10 years, it has some special meaning to me...
Thanks for your help.
Donīt know whatīs going wrong....
Maybe your FMCB is wrong installed.... where you get it??
Maybe your PS2 has an defect....
Maybe you you made a mistake when you change the battery....
Maybe you can try to cut the "power" & "GND" -cables of the chip (cause maybe your chip is incompatible with FMCB) to test if then works uLE & FMCB.
But if you cut, cut it in the middle of the cable, so you can solder it again easy.....
I started a new thread in Official Open PS2 Loader Forum, (I still cannot post links, sorry.)
Thanks for your help, thank u very much.
