Setting Up Filepath in Launchelf.cnf
Setting Up Filepath in Launchelf.cnf –
My biggest problem is how can i set a filepath in launchelf.cnf
cause i want to make ulaunchelf have skin and the source is the dvd drive
is the filepath goes like this??
SKIN_FILE = mc0:/blah/blah
sorry if im asking this one but i just want to make sure u know
Sorry for my bad english
Did you try going into "Screen Settings..." then "Skin Settings..." and choosing the .jpg file from the DVD that way? After doing this, just save the settings by selecting "OK" from the main Settings menu, then go into your LAUNCHELF.CNF file and see where the file path goes if you still need to know. I never tried it myself, just a suggestion.
EDIT: Looks like you got the paths correct, why not just test it out and see for yourself?
Hardware: PS2 v7 (GH-022) NTSC | Crystal Chip 2.0 Pro SLE | Sony Network Adapter | 300GB Segate HDD
Software: uLaunchELF 4.40 | HDLoader 0.8c | HDL_Dump 0.8.6+GUI | SMS 2.9 (Rev.3)
My Projects: uLaunchELF - skins/template | skin template readme | documentation (contributor)
so i will load my ulaunchelf from my memory card?
That is up to you, as uLaunchELF can run from any PS2 storage medium. What you choose is mainly up to your preferences and the PS2 mod methods you use (some mod, soft or hard, is always needed to boot homebrew stuff on a PS2).

Such an installation is then independent of all other devices, and can easily be moved to another PS2, without having to carry any bulky hardware. The only thing it is dependent on is that the PS2 it is used with has some way of booting it from that memory card. Ensuring that is up to you. (And this limitation applies to any other boot device too.)
