No that is not possible, unless you are talking about homebrew games, which can be equipped with their own code to relaunch uLE (aka: uLaunchELF).
uLE does not perform any tricks to remain in memory when launching other apps, such as HDLoader, so if you start an commercial game via HDL, uLE is already gone (killed by the startup of HDL).
And if you start a commercial game disc by direct booting, uLE was never active, so how could it possibly reactivate after the game ??? The only possible answer is that it can't !
I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about, and no wish to find out.It would be like the SlaYer's EvoX dashboard for the xbox.
I haven't ever touched an xbox, and have no wish ever to do so.
This is a PS2 forum and here we deal with PS2 stuff.

Just to give a bit of background, Xbox Dashboards (basicly uLE of the xbox world, such as Evox or Xbox Media Center,) allow an option to use a button combination to return to them no matter what is running (including homebrew apps, games being played from the hdd.)Originally Posted by peterhuh
@ peterhuh - There is only one mod chip that will allow such a function. And it's nothing to do with uLE, but it involves your goal. You would need a Crystal-chip 2.0 (regular or SLE) with the newest hacked firmware installed. Even still, it wouldn't return to HDL's menu, or even uLE, but it would bring you back to the bootmanager, in which you could launch either.
But continuing this topic would go into the realm of modding which would be best suited in that subforum.![]()
